The City of Edinburgh Council’s (the “Council”) intends to create a Gas Engineering Works Framework Agreement. The Framework Agreement will support delivery of inspection, servicing, maintenance, repair, installation, and associated works across a range of gas systems. Works will primarily be undertaken within domestic housing stock owned or managed by the Council. The Framework Agreement will be split by locality, with Contractors restricted from holding both installation and maintenance lots in the same area, to mitigate concentration risk and ensure resilience of service delivery.

Important Update: Due to issues outwith the control of NLB, we will not undertake a site visit for this project. NLB will now undertake a Presentation highlighting the works to be undertaken. All suppliers must register to attend the Teams Presentation via Delta. The Teams presentation will be held on Wednesday 13 May at 10:30 am. The proposed works will comprise of minor civil maintenance repair works and the application of decorative / protective coatings to the structures. More specifically, the main items of work (which may not be completed in this order depending on the Contractor’s methods and programme) are as follows: •Fabrication of Ladder. •Mobilise to site and establish welfare facilities/arrangements. •Dismantle/ remove the access ladder and replace with new. •Wash down structure and remove marine growth. •Carry out grout repairs. •Prepare and paint the structure. •Apply blackjack coating to bottom section of structure. •Clear the site.

C~urb, part of the Link Group, are seeking to appoint a framework of contractors to undertake responsive and emergency repairs for builder, plastering, roofing and fencing works at various locations throughout Scotland. The frameworks will be split into two Lots: Lot 1 - Central and East Scotland and the Scottish Borders Lot 2 - Central and West Scotland. Further details are provided in the ITT and Tender Documentation.

The University of Edinburgh will very shortly be publishing an Invitation to Tender (ITT) to invite competitive tenders to establish contracting arrangements with a single supplier for a Lead Consultant to lead a multi-disciplinary design team for improvement initiatives to ventilation installations across the University's building estate. The scope of services covered under this Contract will encompass principally MEP design, with wider multi-disciplinary design support, energy assessment, construction supervisory and post-handover services provided by the appointed Supplier. Specialist supplier/sub consultant design input may also be required where project solutions involve innovative/new to market products and systems. Quantity Surveying services may also be required to be provided by the supplier as an additional service to completion of Stage 4. Full requirements are detailed in the tender documents. It is the University’s intention to enter into a Contract for an indicative period of 4 years. However, the actual Contract Term will be tied to the individual project/site programmes as detailed in the ITT documents. The proposed form of contract shall be the NEC4 Professional Service Short Contract.

Rubha Reidh Lighthouse Access Road Essential Repairs. Lighthouse is situated on Rubha Reidh point at the entrance to Loch Ewe near Gairloch in Wester Ross. Scope of the works is to carry out localised repairs to road surfacing along the length of the access road filling all potholes along the route of the access road, remediate cracked surfacing with installation of concrete kerbing, clear vegetation from road side drainage ditches and culverts, secure railings on bridge crossings, and provide and install grit bins at 3 locations.
